My name is Gayla Rickard and I offer professional piano lessons in Allen, Texas working with piano players of all levels and ages. From little kids to young adults and retired folks, too! I plan recitals throughout the year so that all of my musicians have the option to perform for an audience – which really helps step up your game! Our piano recitals include piano playing and singing and we often plan appetizers and receptions after the recital so that you can enjoy time with your friends, family and fellow musicians.

College Prep & Professional-level Piano Lessons in Allen While I offer piano instruction and work with students of all levels including beginners, I use college prep materials for many students so that you can grow quickly. I also use all music publishers – so we can pick the music that you want to play.
If you want to go to college and major in music, my college prep piano music lessons are designed to help you acquire all of the skills required of a college music major. In my piano instruction, I teach music theory, composition, piano methods, scales, transposition and improvisation. I also love to work with my students to help them earn music scholarships which make dreams a reality!
Most of my piano students excel quickly and grow into intermediate level after three months of lessons & practice. My piano lessons offer everything an ambitious music major needs to begin their piano career!
Online Piano Lessons in Allen, TX
Sometimes you're not able to take piano lessons in-person, even if you live in Allen, TX – so I also offer Zoom piano lessons to all my students so that we can practice online, no commute needed! I use Zoom for piano lessons and it works great. We can also do both online and in-person piano lessons to fit busy schedules.
